My Dream Home

In K4 we have been writing about our dream home. I'd like to share with you the best bits of my home.

Why hello, let me take you on a tour of my dazzling dream home.
Now as we come into the piece de resistance my indoor mega, super, splash, relaxing spa pool take a good look around.


Watch your step now as we come into my king size bedroom.As you can see I have a queen size bed with a 60 inch TV and my beauty salon dressing table.This is my remote controlled closet.

Komodo Dragon

I would like you to tell you about the Komodo dragon.

Appearance
A komodo dragon has very dry skin. They are 3 meters long and they weigh about 70kg. They have  50 to 60 teeth. The have a long flat head with around snout, scaly bowed legs and a huge muscular tail.

Diet
Komodo dragons are carnivores. They eat deer , birds , eggs and small mammals. They kill their prey with their teeth and poisonous saliva.

Special Features
The komodo dragons can run at speed of 18 km  per  hour. If they lose a tooth it regrows in 3 days. A komodo can smell its prey using its keen sense of smell which can locate a dead or dying animal from a range of 9.5km.

Life Span
A male komodo dragon can live for 30 to 60 years. A female komodo can live for 32 years. Females  lay 24 or 26 eggs. They can take about 8 or 9 mouths to hatch after being put in a hole so they can hatch at the right temperature.

Habitat
The Komodo dragon lives on the Indonesian island of komodo. They live in very warm ,hot and dry places. Their population is 3000 to 5000 on the island of komodo.
